Laboratory staff

 The laboratory staff is working on

  • the improvement of the methods of histological and cytological diagnosis of diseases of various animal and fish species;
  • the implementation of daily diagnostic and advisory work within the framework of research for livestock complexes;
  • the histological and cytological studies of diagnostic biopsies of various organs and tissues;
  • the assessment of the toxicity of drugs by histological examination of parenchymal organs;
  • the study of the levels of expression of genes for immune status and metabolism in the blood and organs of animals and fish;
  • the clinical trials of innovative veterinary drugs (exogenous cytokines, pro- and prebiotics, species-specific recombinant bovine cytokines, fish).

 Research area

  • Assessment of the effect of drugs and their forms on the histological structure of internal organs in case of acute and chronic experiments.
  • Study of the effect of new biological drugs based on species-specific recombinant cytokines, pro-, prebiotics on the organism of animals and fish and their introduction into veterinary practice.
  • Comprehensive assessment of the effect of drugs on the immune status of farm animals and fish.
  • Assessment of expression levels of genes of immune status and metabolism when using probiotic drugs, recombinant cytokines in healthy animals and fish and in case of pathologies of various origins.
