I am glad to welcome you on the website of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution “All-Russian Veterinary Research Institute of Pathology, Pharmacology and Therapy”.
FSBSI “ARVRIPP&T”, established more than 50 years ago as the All-Union Research Institute of Non-Contagious Animal Diseases, today is a leading scientific institution of the veterinary profile of the Russian Federation. On November 20, 2018, on the basis of the Order of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation No. 1016, the Institute was renamed into the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution “All-Russian Veterinary Research Institute of Pathology, Pharmacology and Therapy” (FSBSI “ARVRIPP&T”).
The Institute today is the leading research organization for the development of theoretical foundations and practical methods for combating non-contagious diseases of farm animals, it coordinates scientific research in these areas, carried out in other research institutions and universities.
Currently, the Institute is carrying out fundamental research in accordance with the State assignment developed on the basis of the Program of Fundamental Scientific Research, State Academies of Sciences, as well as taking into account the Concept for the Development of Agricultural Science and Scientific Support for the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2025 and the Perspective Plan for Fundamental Research in Priority Areas of Science, Technology and Technical Devices Development for the period up to 2025 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
The Institute employs 120 people, out of which 74 are teaching and academic staff, including: 1 Academician of the RAS, 1 Corresponding Member of the RAS, 14 Doctors of Sciences (out of which are 6 Professors), 19 Candidates of Sciences. There are 12 Postgraduate Students, 8 of them are full-time students.
On the basis of the Institute, the Dissertation Council D 24.1.004.01 was formed to defend dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the degree of Doctor of Sciences in the scientific specialty 4.2.1. Animal Pathology, Morphology, Physiology, Pharmacology and Toxicology (biological, veterinary sciences).
